Creative Development is not just a business name, it is my philosophy and approach to work, focusing on an individual’s strengths and interests, how they can be applied, developed and more importantly, how best to use in work or projects. My aim is delivery of creative programmes in order to develop leadership, selling, presenting and creativity skills.

I set up Careers Coach with the aim of assisting people with their career transition. In these challenging times I believe that in order to excel in life and business we need to think and act smarter than before. The economy and media has knocked our confidence and engulfed many of us in fear. I believe that if we can overcome our FEAR and think and act smart we are all capable of excelling in any situation

8. John Whelan John Whelan

Terminal entrepreneur. After limited success in founding 3 start ups over 10 years, now tech transfer case manager at Trinity College, Dublin
John Whelan holds a BSc in Applied Physics and Electronics and a PhD in Applied Geophysics, both from NUI, Galway. Upon graduation he worked in software design and development for a range of companies in financial services, based in Ireland and Japan. These include Davy Stockbrokers and Daiwa Securities. He went on to found and raise venture capital for a number of successful start ups, including the world\'s first mobile betting exchange, and subsequently a specialist developer of mobile multimedia applications. Most recently he ran an independent IT consultancy whose clients included Vodafone and Hutchison Three.

Liz Fleming is Programme Manager with HBAN. Liz works closely with the Angel community and companies seeking investment. She brings experience of working with early stage start ups to secure investment from within the Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Up division and international sales and marketing experience from the Enterprise Ireland overseas network. She holds a B.Comm. from UCC and an M.Sc. in International Business from the Dublin Institute of Technology

 
10. Marie Walsh

Marie Walsh has been advising entrepreneurs on their intellectual property rights, patents and trademarks for the past 20 years. Marie has provided training seminars on IP to innovators at presentations such at the Open University alumni group, and at the Greenhouse Limerick business start-up’s camp in October 2009. Marie is also a speaker in the IP Diploma course being run by the Law Society of Ireland.

Marie’s presentation at the Greenhouse Business camp is on “protecting your business products and trade names” and will describe the advantages of having patents to obtain a monopoly for your new/improved products or processes. Marie will also discuss the advantages to having a registered trade mark for your trade name. Marie plans on alerting entrepreneurs to what she calls “patent pitfalls” and “trade mark trip-ups”. Marie will be happy to answer any questions that you may have on these topics.

Mark has been a radio and TV journalist with RTE for over 18 years. In that time he has been rewarded for his reports on Afghanistan, and is currently presenter of Prime Time. A former Washington correspondent, he has authored three books about US and world affairs.

I've been writing advertising and direct marketing copy since 1990 and online content since 2005. I've written radio, TV and print ads for an extensive list of blue chip clients in automotive, pharmaceutical, retail, fmcg, food & beverage and government communications.

I’m also a web content provider, special needs blogger and social media advocate. On top of all that I am the writer, performer and one sixth of the political satirist team The Emergency.

Paddy has helped found a range of organisations and companies across the for profit and not for profit space. In 2008, he was appointed by the United Nation’s Global Alliance for ICT and Development as one of the UN’s eLeader’s for ICT and Youth. He joined a group of 9 other “exceptional young ICT entrepreneurs” drawn from around the world.

Paddy has spoken across Europe, Asia, the United States and Africa on a diverse range of topics. And this year spoke to staff at Facebook in Palo Alto.

Pat Phelan is the founder and director of products and innovation at Cubic Telecom, one of the leading voices of Voice 2.0. Cubic Telecom has developed MAXroam, a global roaming product which reduces users roaming cellular bill on both voice and data by over 80%.

Pat sees himself as a ‘telecoms disrupter’ and has been blogging here on a variety of subjects including how brands should embrace the internet and where telecoms are headed over the coming years.

Sabrina Dent is a veteran web designer and blogger who designs and builds websites fuelled by coffee, cigarettes and insomnia from a smoke-filled turret in deepest Ireland.

After barely surviving the big agency culture of London in the 90's, she now works almost exclusively with small internet startups and bootstrapped companies to produce sites on virtually no budget.

Her bookcase features some nice awards, and she is a regular fixture at technology conferences and on panels.
